The VI pathway is commonly a key potential exposure pathway that is considered during environmental site assessments and corrective action planning for sites impacted by volatile contaminants. CalEPA recently issued a draft Supplemental Vapor Intrusion Guidance for public comment that is expected to have a significant impact on strategies used for the investigation and remediation at these sites. This expert panel will provide technical, regulatory, and legal perspectives of the draft guidance and the implications for site cleanup and redevelopment.
