Michael S. Kozar, PG, LSRP, LRS is the Operations Manager of the Roux Somerset, New Jersey office. He is a Principal Hydrogeologist with thirty-six years of experience in environmental assessment, feasibility studies, and remedial evaluations. He specializes in implementing remedial solutions, providing multidisciplinary project direction and regulatory communications. He has extensive experience with soil and groundwater characterizations and ex situ/in situ remediation techniques in a variety of hydrogeologic environments for various state programs and Federal Superfund sites. He is a registered Professional Geologist in Pennsylvania, a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) in New Jersey, and a Licensed Remediation Specialist (LRS) in West Virginia.
Wahid Khan, PE, LSRP is a Principal Engineer with over thirty years of experience advising industrial clients, law firms, insurers, developers, and financial institutions on complex environmental issues across the US and internationally. Wahid has led investigations and remediation at challenging sites, including Superfund, MGP, and dry cleaner facilities, where legacy contamination and complex geologic conditions require innovative and cost-effective solutions. Wahid has conducted hundreds of environmental due diligence assessments across diverse commercial and industrial sites nationwide, supporting M&A, real estate, financing, and insurance transactions—from high-level reviews for multi-billion-dollar deals to standard Phase I ESAs for single-site acquisitions. In the litigation arena, Wahid provides technical and strategic support for cases involving soil and groundwater remediation, drinking water treatment, insurance claims, and cost-recovery actions. His versatile experience and ability to translate complex technical findings into defensible legal strategies make him a valuable resource in environmental disputes.
Jacqueline Fusco, Technical Director, has almost twenty-five years of professional experience in the environmental consulting industry, focusing her services on regulatory compliance, land use permitting, and natural resource identification. She has consistently demonstrated her knowledge and understanding of environmental regulations by seamlessly guiding clients through complex regulatory processes in New Jersey and throughout the country. Her experience includes directing multimedia licensing and permitting efforts for a wide range of clients, including public and private utilities; residential and commercial developers; municipal, state, and federal agencies; and petroleum manufacturers and retailers. Throughout her years of permitting experience, she has developed strong relationships with regulators and industry leaders and has demonstrated a strong commitment to navigating and understanding environmental regulations to support her clients’ project needs from both a cost and schedule perspective.
