Soil & Groundwater Remediation

Roux designed and installed a high vacuum dual phase extraction (HVDPE) system to remove volatile organic solvents from soil and groundwater. In situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) injection, using sodium persulfate and steam, was also employed. The remedial work reduced contaminant mass sufficiently to permit monitored natural attenuation for site closure.
