Dr. Tami McMullin Selected to Join USEPA Science Advisory Board
Join us in congratulating Roux’s Dr. Tami McMullin on being selected to be a member of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Science Advisory Board (SAB) and SAB Chemical Assessment Advisory Committee.
The SAB was established in 1978 under the Environmental Research, Development, and Demonstration Authorization Act. The Board reviews the quality and strength of scientific and technical information used by the EPA, advises on research programs, and offers guidance on broad scientific matters. The Chemical Assessment Advisory Committee provides advice to the chartered SAB regarding selected toxicological reviews of environmental chemicals.
“The EPA has an unwavering commitment to Gold Standard Science. Reconstituting the Science Advisory Board will provide rigorous, independent, evidence-based, scientific advice consistent with its legal obligations to advance our core mission of protecting human health and the environment.”
– EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin
