CSR Spotlight: The 11 Day Power Play 2026

The 11 Day Power Play, Inc. was founded by Roux’s Michael Lesakowski, Operations Manager/Vice President, and his wife Amy ten years ago. Since then, Mike has helped to gather several teams each year to play, fundraise, and help fight cancer one shift at a time.

This year’s Buffalo-based eleven-day hockey game took place from June 17 through June 28, 2026. In Roux’s third year of participating, our thirty-person team consisted of friends, family, and colleagues. Fifteen of the thirty players were either Roux employees, Roux family members, clients, vendors, or subcontractors.

When players commit to donate, volunteer, or participate in The 11 Day Power Play, they’re saving lives by supporting organizations dedicated to making a difference. The causes supported by event fundraising include Roswell Park, Golisano Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Program, Make-A-Wish, Camp Good Days, and The Petey Fund.

We’re excited to share that Roux was the #3 fundraising team this year with $59,000 raised! In total, the event raised $1.7MM. Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising efforts—we couldn’t do it without you!
