CSR Spotlight: Stony Brook Basketball Game

Posted on February 03, 2020

Our New York office banded together for a rare weeknight outing in Stony Brook for a basketball game featuring the Stony Brook Seawolves versus the Binghamton University Bearcats. Our office has a few alumni from both sides of the court, making for a spirited and competitive game! Binghamton ended up the winner, but regardless of who we were cheering for, our ticket sales brought in $3,000 for Stony Brook Children’s Hospital!

As one of only 250 children’s hospitals in the country, and the only one east of the Queens/Nassau border, Stony Brook Children’s is dedicated to delivering care that addresses the unique medical and emotional care of children on Long Island and beyond. Their newly opened hospital was thoughtfully designed to accommodate the needs of young patients and their families, and to promote safety, well-being, and healing, featuring colorful lighting controlled by the patients, a rooftop garden, and a wall-sized screen with a live feed of the Long Island Aquarium!
