After the Dust Settles: The Environmental & Economic Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic

Presented by Thomas Buggey, P.G., LSRP, LRS, Chase Gerbig, Ph.D., & Peter R. Kelso
Wednesday, May 6th at 1pm EDT

This presentation will focus on distressed assets and operations in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting how bankruptcies and shutdowns will shine a light on environmental cleanups. The COVID-19 pandemic is going to affect us all in one way or another. The way we do business is going to change at least in the foreseeable future. Will telecommuting play a larger role going forward, will online sales become the norm, how will this affect manufacturing—maybe localizing operations rather than globalizing, streamlining the operations to avoid this type of disruption in the future? For sure, the economic landscape will look different in the coming months, or possibly years. Companies will be examining their options to keep operations moving, while others may be looking to acquire property or businesses.

Overall, this webinar is oriented to look at the pitfalls and possibly benefits when the dust settles, and we all get back to “normal.” We will look at the potential hidden liabilities and costs in considering divestiture or shutdown, and on the other side, a reminder of what to look out for in buying value assets. To register, please click on the link below:
