LDAR/IR Testing & Title V Permit Support

Major Petroleum Company; Northeastern United States

OBJECTIVES

Roux conducts and prepares summary reports for monthly Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) and quarterly infrared (IR) surveys at multiple bulk oil storage facilities in compliance with state and federal air permits. The LDAR surveys include inspections of gasoline loading bay equipment and tanker trucks throughout the entire tanker truck loading cycle. The IR inspections are performed on all in service gasoline and ethanol tanks.

Roux also provides ongoing air emissions regulatory support for several remediation systems covered under Title V Air Permits, including operations and maintenance (O&M) of off-gas heaters, inspecting and repairing piping and ductwork to prevent fugitive emissions, maintaining and monitoring vapor phase extraction and treatment equipment including vapor-phase granular activated carbon units, and calculating overall air emissions for annual compliance reports.
