Mid-Year CSR Update 2025
Check out our events from spring 2025 that have supported charitable organizations across the nation below!
2025 Oakland Marathon: Oakland, California Office
Our Oakland office sponsored staff participation in a charity run supporting Stephen and Ayesha Curry’s Eat.Learn.Play. foundation. This organization, local to Oakland, supports children’s wellbeing through access to nutritious meals, quality reading resources, and opportunities to play and be active—because everyone deserves the chance to live a happy, healthy childhood. The Roux team had a great time and some even hit personal records!
Earth Day Cleanup: Logan Township, New Jersey Office
On April 12, Roux’s Logan Township, New Jersey CSR Team arranged participation for an environmental cleanup event. Roux volunteers joined the Burlington County Parks Department Amico Island Park Cleanup, situated along the Delaware River in Delran, New Jersey.
A team of eight people (Logan employees and family/friends) came out to volunteer on Saturday morning despite rainy and cold weather, joining a group of 50+ in the cleanup. In honor of Earth Day, the Logan CSR Team also made donations of $500 each to the Native Plant Society of New Jersey and the Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge, two non-profits upholding local environmental conservation efforts.
Earth Day Garden Beautification: Oakland, California Office
On April 19, our Oakland office participated in the City of Oakland’s 31st Annual Earth Day event, hosted by the City’s Public Works/Environmental Stewardship Team, to implement environmental projects throughout the city, such as tree plantings, weeding, pruning, and habitat restoration. A group of Roux volunteers, along with several other community members and volunteers, participated at The Gardens at Lake Merritt to improve their slice of Earth in Oakland, pulling weeds and helping to beautify the gardens.
Cornhole for a Cause: Burlington, Massachusetts & Logan Township, New Jersey Offices
Roux joined with our valued partner Bohler Engineering to sponsor two exciting events for a fun-filled evening of cornhole, food, drinks, networking, and giving back. Each event took place on Thursday, May first.
In Massachusetts, our Burlington Team played to support Boston Children’s Hospital inspired by Ella’s Army at Garage B @ The Speedway in Brighton, Massachusetts. Last year’s event successfully raised over $80,000 through the generous support of sponsors and the community.
In New Jersey, at Tranquility Farm in Chester, New Jersey, our Logan Team supported the United Way of Northern New Jersey. United Way of Northern New Jersey is working hard to build a strong community—where workers earn enough to meet their needs, can build a personal safety net to weather a crisis, and have access to quality care for vulnerable family members. See photos from our NJ cornhole event below!
TD Five Boro Bike Tour: Islandia, New York Office
An annual tradition for the New York office, the TD Five Boro Bike Tour takes place on the first Sunday in May. Our group of nearly 30 riders embarked on an exciting journey, riding 40 miles for a valuable cause though all five boroughs in New York City.
For the second consecutive year, we rode alongside our non-profit partner Christodora: Nature, Learning, Leadership. Christodora has served under-resourced communities across New York City for over 125 years. They provide opportunities for young people to learn about the environment and experience the natural world first-hand. The team was led by Roux’s President and CEO Sin Senh, who is also Christodora board member.
Christodora and Roux raised more than $41,000 this year and all funds will help more New York City kids discover nature through Christodora’s programs. If you’d like to join our team next year, fill out our interest form.
