Martin Hamper to Present RCRA Refresher at Chicago Chapter Event

Friday, May 23 Roux’s Martin Hamper, PG will be presenting a RCRA Refresher at the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Greater Chicago Chapter Meeting. He will provide an insightful presentation on how RCRA fits in with other major environmental laws passed in the Environmental Decade (1970-1980) and describe hazardous waste generator responsibilities with a focus on Illinois hazardous waste regulations. The presentation will touch on waste characterization requirements imposed by the Generator Improvement Rule, as well as providing a refresher on generator category determination, permit exemptions, central accumulation areas, satellite accumulation areas, and contingency planning.
