Roux Associates, Inc. was contracted by an engineering consultant to provide wetland science services for the Naperville Road/Warrenville Road Improvements project (Naperville/Warrenville Project). These roadway improvements included new access to the Illinois State Highway Toll Authority's I-88 tollway, new north-south roadway connecting Warrenville Road to Diehl Road, and improvements to Naperville Road, Warrenville Road, and Diehl Road. Roux Associates provided permitting coordination services in accordance with the DuPage County Countywide Stormwater and Flood Plain Ordinance. Roux Associates assisted in preparing and coordinating the Stormwater Management Permit for these roadway improvements to the DuPage County Department of Economic Development and Planning, Department of Environmental Concerns (DEC).

Key personnal at Roux Associates conducted the wetland delineation of 31 wetlands, wetland mitigation coordination, wetland permitting services, wildlife habitat surveys, tree survey, and riparian environment analysis. The vegetation, hydrology, and soil conditions were documented during the wetland delineation of the project corridor. During the tree survey the species, diameter, approximate height, and overall condition of each tree within the project corridor was documented. Roux Associates' services included a regulatory review to identify appropriate agencies and permit submittals related to environmental services within the project corridor.
