The American Board of Toxicology establishes standards for the professional practice of toxicology and certifies candidates based on academic success, professional experience and examination. The certification is recognized world-wide as a demonstration of a toxicologist's knowledge and scientific credibility.

Regulatory Compliance Practice, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Auditing Roundtable (AR), a professional association dedicated to the practice of Environmental, Health & Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) Auditing. The Auditing Roundtable (AR) is a professional society founded in 1982 by ten corporate environmental audit program managers, and has since expanded scope to include health & safety.

Denise Kmetzo, Roux Associates’ Senior Risk Assessment Team Leader, recently published an article on Vapor Intrusion in the American Bar Associations’ Environmental Transactions and Brownfields Committee Newsletter. The article addresses the importance of understanding the potential contribution of background sources to indoor air quality when conducting a vapor intrusion assessment.
