Tuesday, March 6 – Wednesday, March 7 The Emerging Contaminants Summit focuses on the latest developments in the detection, fate and transport, risk assessment, treatment, and regulation of emerging contaminants. This summit is the only conference/workshop that addresses mitigating the presence of emerging contaminants across all environmental media, including surface water, groundwater, drinking water, wastewater, recycled water, soils, and sediments.
Roux’s Adam Love, Ph.D. and Lydia Dorrance, Ph.D. will give a poster presentation entitled “Outlook of Environmental Forensics in Distinguishing Sources of Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances.“ This presentation on perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS, provides insights into the potential application of environmental forensic techniques commonly used to investigate the source, timing, and contribution of these emerging contaminants.
