Tuesday, October 3 Roux’s Tony Ward, P.G., Principal Geologist, will be attending the Groundwater Resources Association (GRA) Annual Meeting in Sacramento, California, where he will be receiving the Director Emeritus Award. GRA’s 2017 Conference and 26th Annual Meeting will provide policy makers, practitioners, researchers, and educators the opportunity to learn about current policies, regulations, and technical challenges affecting the protection, use, and management of groundwater in California.
On this same day, Roux will also attend and sponsor Heroes of the Harbor at Chelsea Piers in New York, in celebration of the Waterfront Alliance‘s 10th Anniversary. The Waterfront Alliance began as a project of The Municipal Art Society of New York, later growing into an independent coalition of more than 950 organizations working together to bring about real change to our region’s waterways.
In addition, members of Roux’s New York office will take part in the Manhattan College 2017 STEM Career Fair. This event will promote internships and part/full-time careers exclusively to Manhattan College students and alumni, specifically pertaining to Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Construction, Healthcare, Consulting, Science, Biotech, and Pharmaceutical careers.
