State of New Mexico support to join the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX)

Roux Associates supported New Mexico’s initiative to become the first state to join the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) and commit to reducing its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. We developed a clear understanding of baseline and annual GHG emissions, which provided a solid foundation for future offset planning and strategy development. We also created a credible, auditable and repeatable process to manage the data under CCX’s legally binding emissions credit trading program, and raised the awareness on the extent of GHG impacts from New Mexico government operations.
