A group of several carriers hired Roux Associates to investigate and remediate a former dry cleaners property in Georgia after the owner declared bankruptcy and fled to an unknown location. The insurance carriers and Roux worked with the property landlord to obtain access to the site. Roux developed and implemented an in-situ treatment plan that was successful in reducing PCE levels to within regulatory limits within four years.
