For a pollution liability carrier, Roux Associates recently performed an underwriting evaluation of an urban county government in Florida. This evaluation required a review of known contaminant releases and potential environmental property damage and bodily injury mechanisms at thousands of properties and buildings owned or leased by the county government. Properties included shooting ranges, landfills, waste water treatment plants, water supply infrastructure, courthouses, jails, office buildings, fire stations, parks, and rights-of-way. The evaluation was successfully completed in less than two weeks to meet underwriting requirements.
