Compliance Audit

Roux Associates was retained by a major pharmaceutical company to conduct a comprehensive environmental audit for its facility located in Lititz, Pennsylvania.  The purpose of the audit was to ensure continued compliance with Federal, State, and local environmental rules and regulations.  The Roux Associates audit team conducted a detailed records and file review at the facility and interviewed on-site environmental personnel to determine compliance with applicable regulations.  The regulatory programs covered by the audit included:  Clean Air Act, wastewater and storm water, aboveground and underground storage tanks, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and EPCRA.

As a follow-up to the audit Roux Associates:

 

  • Prepared air and storm water permits
  • Prepared an Integrated Contingency Plan for the facility
  • Assisted the facility in establishing a Source Reduction Strategy for hazardous and residual wastes
