Divestiture Due Diligence Assessments

Roux Associates conducted environmental due diligence assessments for each of seven city blocks, or parts thereof, at a former pharmaceutical manufacturing facility located in Brooklyn, New York.  These assessments were prepared in support of planned divestiture and satisfied corporate internal environmental assessment requirements.  The assessments focused on the identification of potential environmental concerns, including permitting and compliance issues, as a result of current and historic facility operations.  A review of plant records, interviews, inspections, and environmental databases were conducted to evaluate: known impacts to soil and groundwater from operations; current and former petroleum and chemical storage tanks; air emission sources; asbestos; lead-based paint; PCBs; mercury; and regulatory compliance including hazardous waste and wastewater management activities.
