DOMANI and NTT Data begin Japanese IT and Carbon/Climate Change Consulting Partnership

Islandia, New York; October 20, 2005 -- DOMANI, an international sustainability consulting firm headquartered in Denver, Colorado, announced today it had entered into a strategic business development arrangement with NTT DATA, Japan's largest IT systems integrator.

The two firms signed a research contract and a memorandum of agreement with the goal to provide knowledge-based environmental consulting services through IT products and services to Japanese industry.

The research contract targets the newly emerging carbon management services market brought on by Japan's compliance with the recently ratified Kyoto Protocol. NTT DATA is under contract by the Japanese government to build the national registry for that country's greenhouse gas (GHG) emission trading regime.

Also signed was a memorandum of agreement to develop joint business in other areas of sustainability services.
