Tuesday, October 11 The New York League of Conservation Voters Education Fund is holding a Green Infrastructure Forum at the Buffalo History Museum. This Roux sponsored event will explore benefits and answer important questions about sustainable economic growth and the future of green infrastructures in the Buffalo-Niagara Region. Green infrastructures such as bioswales help to control combined sewer overflows during periods of heavy rain, while also offering the aesthetic appeal of a curbside garden. Green infrastructures have also been associated with a number of social, economic, and ecological benefits.
