Roux Associates has provided a broad range of environmental consulting services to freight, passenger, and commuter railroads. Project sites have included extensive classification and maintenance yards, busy passenger stations, transformer substations and spills along mainline tracks. Roux Associates has also provided environmental consulting services to a broader section of the transportation industry, including airlines, airports, and shipping and freight trucking companies.
Roux Associates' personnel are trained and very knowledgeable in busy yards and around moving trains, including work on mainline tracks with trains reaching speeds of up to 120 miles per hour. We are also very familiar with work in electrified territory with voltages of 230 Kv.
As a result of our experience, we are very efficient at implementing field programs at transportation sites and clearly understand that our field activities must not result in any disruption of service. We are familiar with the coordination "challenges" inherent to this type of work and strive to perform our work in an efficient and non-disruptive manner.
