Roux Associates consults on a wide variety of environmental issues for our utility clients. We recognize that our utility clients are challenged by requests for cleaner combustion at existing plants, expanded use of renewable energy sources, changing technology standards, and improved energy efficiency. All of these goals are addressed with a keen eye on cost impact and potential for return on investment. Our services include the provision of strategic advice on existing, proposed or new regulations (mercury control, NSR/PSD, greenhouse gas, spill control and stormwater management); permitting work to assist individual power stations in achieving approvals under various Federal, state and local regulations; and, investigations of contaminated sites to determine cause and extent of contamination and available remedies. We combine our specialized experience with innovative approaches and aim at effectively optimizing available solutions.
