CERCLA and State Superfund
Roux Associates has conducted remedial investigations and feasibility studies on numerous Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) and state-listed Superfund sites since 1981. We have provided innovative thinking on major Superfund sites to save substantial costs for our clients. For example, by reopening the Record of Decision, the technical impracticability of the chosen pump and treat remedy and substitution of a natural attenuation remedy at the PAS Superfund site in Oswego, New York, the PRPs saved the cost of the pump and treat program.
Roux Associates has also provided clients with litigation support on a variety of Superfund issues, such as contribution and consistency with the NCP. Litigation support in these areas includes preparation of expert reports with opinions, deposition testimony and trial testimony.
