Potential Environmental Liabilities Evaluation for Chemicals Facility

Roux Associates sent a team of environmental compliance specialists to Tokyo, Japan to evaluate potential environmental liabilities at chemical storage and distribution facilities located in several industrial neighborhoods around Tokyo. The assessment evaluated chemical storage procedures and facilities, waste disposal practices, historical uses of the facilities, known environmental contamination at the site, and the potential for future environmental impacts to air, water or soil. Cost estimates were prepared to assist U.S.-based management evaluate existing and potential future environmental impacts from these operations. This work was carried out to assist the client meet the requirements of the Sarbannes-Oxley reporting requirements.
