Lift Station for Wastewater Treatment System

Roux Associates performed conceptual design, fluids engineering, detailed design and construction management of a new 150,000 gpd duplex lift station. The lift station was part of a large constructed wetlands landfill leachate treatment system that was required to pump landfill leachate and process effluent wastewater to a post treatment facility for reuse as irrigation water and fire water. Due to added wastewater handling requirements, Roux Associates later completed design and construction management to increase the pumping capacity of the lift station to 350,000 gpd. Roux Associates' design responsibilities included all aspects of the mechanical design, control equipment design, pump sizing and electrical service sizing.
