Changes to CT DEEP’s Significant Environmental Hazard Law

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) put into effect new amendments to the Significant Environmental Hazard law on July 1st, 2015. The law includes environmental hazard conditions and how a hazard should be reported. Environmental professionals must notify the client when a hazard is identified, and the client must report the hazard to the DEEP.
